Hello again from the Transform Neighbourhood Wardens. We’ve been very busy putting together a Christmas lunch for some of our older residents with help from the North Devon Volunteereering Development Agency. Twenty five people will be sitting down at the Golden Bay restaurant in Ilfracombe with the support of Transform and Help the Aged for an early start to the festivities.

Also we had a lovely thank you from a parent whose child was able to take part in the extended schools programme as a result of Transform’s help in supplying the community buses which took the children from Ilfracombe college to the outer areas of Combe Martin, Lynton and Woolacombe.

We also took part in a meet and greet session with some of the parents at Combe Martin Youth Club. Some very useful discussion raised some ideas which will take the club forward in the New Year.

After Christmas look out for our 'We Care' campaign which we hope will put us in touch with some of the vulnerable members of our community. We will be offering help and advice on keeping safe and well in the winter months ahead.

It only remains for Andrew and I to wish you a Happy, Healthy and Safe Christmas and New Year!
