Meet the new PCSO

North Devon’s first Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) has been such a successPCSO Adrienne Drury that the Police have just appointed another!

The new PCSO, Adrienne Drury, started work in August. She will be providing a high visibility presence in outlying rural areas so if you live in Combe Martin or Bratton Fleming you should be seeing her soon. She will also be working closely with PCSO Katie Simpson and the two wardens. Her post is being funded by Transform for the first three years, with a view to the job eventually becoming mainstreamed (paid for) by Devon and Cornwall Police after that. Adrienne Drury has lived in Ilfracombe for many years. She has been working as a traffic warden in Braunton for the last three years, and before that was a police officer.
